[8.270][QUESTION][ANSWERED] what is the difference between an 8.2 and 8.3 licence

Hi Masoumeh  and welcome to the party,

this might seem like a silly question? What is the difference between 8.2 and 8.3 licences? I expect it has to do with the additional features in 8.3, but if you don't want them or can't use them will a 8.2 licences suffice?

Why do I want to take part, because there are some fixes I am interested in?

    Hi. Your existing license will of course work, however as a matter of course we always provide beta keys, since if users want to fire up their own test installation using the same key as their paid key in multiple installations is not supported and may cause weird behaviors.

    We don't want you running into barriers when testing our shiny new stuff, so we make it easy [:)]
