[8.200][BUG][OPEN] IPv6 DHCP server fails to assign an address

If I manually configure an address in the PC (w7 64) I get IPv6 connectivity. But DHCP fails to assign and address.

    Does the other device get an address correctly?  Does it help if you disable, then enable that particular DHCP server instance?

    On occasion, a win7 x64 client of mine has problems obtaining an IPv6 address when rebooted.  In this case it is definitely a problem with the client, but the solution is to do an ipconfig /release6, ipconfig /renew6.  Maybe this will help you, although it looks more like an issue with the server (Astaro) side from the log info.

    I was experiencing a few odd anomalies with 8.200 yesterday (other than confirmed bugs that have already been reported).  A reboot of the Astaro cleared them up.

    Hi Scott,
    would you please correct the spelling of assign in the thread heading.

    Until I tried the PC the only other device had been a MAC which I have to manually  assign an IPv6 address to, so I was not aware of this problem.

    This PC quite happily picks up an IPv6 address from my main ASG using DHCPv6.

    I have restarted the DHCP server and the ASG a number of times before posting the log extract. It doesn't make sense to me.
