I noticed this a while back but kept forgetting to get some screenshots. Not sure when exactly it started but some downloads (Firefox is where I notice it the most) a strange character (y with dots over it) is added to the filename. See the attached screenshots. One is downloading it directly and the other is letting Astaro do the download then grabbing it from there. And yes, when I download it from Astaro that character stays in the filename. Doesn't seem to cause any problems, just something odd I noticed. Thanks!!
I have tested this on XP/Vista/7 with Firefox 3/4/5. Strangely enough IE seems to bypass and just downloads the file directly instead of it passing through Astaro.
I'm not sure what you mean by local settings, on the Astaro box? I have the web filtering set to Transparent Mode with the antivirus set to use dual scanning.
