Soft Release 8.200: Release and Download Information

Please don't put words in my mouth (as it were).  [:)]  Text based internet communication lends itself to enough misinterpretation as it is, with the lack on tonality and inflection.

The bug that you reference is important and could be detrimental to many customers, as could several others that I know of, which still manifest themselves in the 8.200 soft release.  

I recall a similar issue awhile back with Avira, that had the same error message, where Astaro had to suspend Avira pattern updates for a week or two until the engine provider could come up with a fix.  It could account for the delayed fix for this issue.

We both know that Astaro is aware of the problems.  Given past experience, I would guess that they are currently in overtime mode working through the remaining issues before GA in a couple of weeks.
