[8.174][BUG][OPEN] HE.net needs ping rule to work

I think there is still a need to have a ICMP ping rule to get a Hurricane Electric tunnel to work properly.  My tunnel was down and I couldn't get it to work so I looked at the log and saw this:

2011:07:15-23:02:10 asg hurricane[6419]: -ERROR: IP is not ICMP pingable.  Please make sure ICMP is not blocked.  If you are blocking ICMP, please allow 66.220.2.74 through your firewall.

I remembered that I had turned off the firewall rule so I went and turned it back on.... sure enough my tunnel came up.

PS I created the ping rule myself back when the Hurricane Electric tunnel was first being tested.  Is there an automatic rule it is conflicting with?
