[8.171][BUG][CLOSED] Unable to send SMTP Mail from client PC

Hi since 8.171
I have PC's that send email directly through the SMTP Proxy and Smart Host that receive the following error.
"An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded:  No RDNS entry for 172.16.20.9. Please check the message recipient ***xx@***xx.com.au and try again."

Other Clients that send mail through the Exchange Server are fine, only the Clients that Relay.
I have a number of Domain's and different settings in the SMTP Profiles.

Prior to this release 8.170 all was working.

    please check the confd settings for your SMTP relay hosts. What does the following command (executed as root) output?
    cc get smtp relays

    And can you please for each REF_ string that is listed by the command, run the following command and post its output?
    cc get_object REF_hereYourString


    Maybe your ASG has a problem with resolving DNS names.

    I just deleted a network from the relay control interface and checked the relays file the relay file changed with the deletion of the network.
    The only change that has happened on this box is this I have applied patch 8.172.

    So now it appears to be working as it should.
