[8.170][QUESTION][ANSWERED] data partition usage

Hi,
on  my little system with the 60gb SSD, the data partition is currently at 25%. Now I was of the opinion that this was cleared out every 24 hours.

What would cause the partition to keep data for a period of time and what will cause it to empty?
