[8.170][BUG][FIXED] DNS entries fill log very quickly

Hi,
while trying to get the USB 3G connection going after it failed I noticed that the DNS log files was growing exceptionally large eg 1.2gb after about an 1 hour. I cleared the log and within a short time it was back over 500mb.
After the 3G link was re-established the file grew a lot slower.

There needs to be some sort of safe guard on how fast a log can grow.
a similar failure on my ASG that uses an ADSL2+ connection and see how fast the log grows.

    Thanks for the logs, Ian.

    Yes, throttling the rate at which error messages are written to the logs is a good idea, but if such a huge amount of error messages is written, there's almost always something else broken too (4000 lines per second - ooops). I think we'll have to fix this quickly [;)]
