[8.170][NOTABUG][CLOSED] Remote Log File Archives cosmetic

Hi All

It seems that the system accepts as valid an email form of test@test.Please look at the pic attached. Is it possible to check for valid email address or at least at the correct format before accepting them?

sorry, but test@test.Please is a valid email address. You'd cry if you read the RFCs on what is allowed there.

and even that is valid. SMTP even permits things like 'laugh@me@my-funny-domain'...
