[8.170][INFO][NONE] CPU load increase after up2date

I am investigating the cause of the idle power consumption of the ASG increasing from 27w to 33w after the upgrade.
This is the ASG built using 8.165 ISO and 8.170 up2date package.

These 2 lines look very familiar to me, like I have reported them before. Also this ASG has had a number of restarts a couple of hours ago, so I would expect the logging and other processes to have stablilsed by now.

I will review again after the midnight rollover, which also what I think happened last time.

    Thanks for all the interesting information, but please allow me to put some light on that resource consumption: we've been adding features to the ASG, which generally means more processes running, more memory consumption and, of course, more CPU usage and thus more power consumption. 
    This has always been this way since the early beginnings of V8, and (unless you start voting for "less features in the ASG" on our feature portal) will be a trend for the future...

    I don't have a problem with the increased functionality. The changes have been for the better and I enjoy being part of the testing scene.

    Let me explain what I am getting at. I have had this particular ASG through a number of beta versions and the power consumption always fell back to around 28 watts when idle, now running at 39w. This was uptil 8.170 where there was a sharp increase and another increase with 8.171.

    I rebuilt the ASG from scratch due to a faulty NIC, I replaced the failed Intel NIC with a lower power version of an Intel NIC. I expected the see a slight decrease in power consumption, but I didn't so I updated the thread on the subject.
