as mentioned in my previous post on the availability of our technical preview for Endpoint Security, there was a bug if you wanted to use the up2date package.
Those of you who updated from 8.614 to 8.615 now can use the following hotfix from our ftp-server ftp://ftp.astaro.com/pub/ASG/v8/beta/hotfix/epp_rpms.tar
After downloading pleas make sure to:
[LIST=1]
- Copy epp_rpms.tar to ASG with scp
- log in to ASG with SSH
- Unpack with: tar xf epp_rpms.tar
- become root: su
- run install.sh script contained in the tarball (will install RPMs and create epp database): ./install.sh
- might need to start epsecd with (if endpoint security is already enabled): /var/mdw/scripts/epsecd start
