V8.165 delayed

Hi everyone,

we have to delay the next release for another week. The current plan is to release Version 8.165 on

[SIZE="5"]Tuesday, May 24th.
[/SIZE]

As i already wrote in another thread: this delay is mostly due to a company-wide event during the next week, where most of us will be off-site and thus cannot fix the bugs or test the fixes.

    You are volunteering to install and use these betas, but Astaro has clearly laid out (https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/astaroorg/f/110/t/70158) that there will be issues, that betas should NOT be used in a production environment, and that usage of the beta is at your own risk.  You may have certain expectations, but these are not based upon any assertion on the part of Astaro.  Timely is a very subjective thing and the only reasonable expectation that can be had is that major problems reported will be fixed by the time of GA release.  Astaro works very hard at being communicative and responsive to its' beta testers, much more so than a lot of much larger and better known companies in their betas.

    In your first sentence, you have used profanity, which is a violation of the terms of use on these forums.  I have edited your post to obfuscate the offending word, but have chosen not to tag your account with an infraction.  Take it as a warning to be more thoughtful in your choice of words.
