[8.164][BUG][FIXED] system restart - reason unknown

Nope, that was the first thing I tried having worked A LOT with serial devices in what seems like another life now.  We used to have a ton of serial radios, Cisco gear, modems, etc at work.

Like I said I DO get something when it reboots and if I leave it in modem mode but otherwise it doesn't seem to do much of anything....  Maybe I missed a configuration on the Astaro side?

I had a reboot and there was lots of information.... but I was recording at 10 frames per second.  Apparently that isn't enough [:$] !

Any way I'm recording again at 60 frames per second and hope to get all the info this time.  I'm not sure how to post it though.  Maybe I'll take some frames and post those.  Just looked at the allowed file types and I'll zip it.

I missed a reboot.... my daughter wanted to use her computer (the one I'm recording with) so I said sure I'll be out for a couple of hours.   Well, it reboot while I was out... [:(]

I am getting discouraged...  It doesn't seem like the beta team is even paying attention to this thread.  I hope this isn't a waste of time.

I'm going to let it record again over night if it doesn't catch anything by morning then I think I'm going to backup and load 8.163.  My wife is working from home tomorrow and I don't need any issues.... nor do I need my kids screaming that the Internet is down over the weekend.  You'd think this network was mission critical [8-)] .... can't do without Club Penguin! [;)]

Don't worry, i'm paying attention. It's just that i'm waiting for something that i can really use as a starting point for an investigation.

OK, then I'll weather the storm of looks that I will get when it crashes.  I do hope that I get something soon as this is getting a little tedious.

[:D] Well, I finally got it !!! ... but even at 60 fps recording it's only five frames.  I hope this gives some kind of clue. [H]

 It looks like it might be IPv6 that is causing the crashes???   Hmmm, if I remember correctly I had a rule to drop all IPv6 packets and I removed it around when I loaded 8.164.  After loading 8.164 I also enabled IPv6 to look at its settings then disabled it.  Maybe those actions had something to do with my sudden crashing??? [:S]
