[8.163][NOTABUG][CLOSED] DHCP Leases

Hi All

As per DHCP Lease table, I am able to see a lease that it has expire but it is still on the relevant section. The name is "unknown"(pic attached)

The relevant log is :

2011:04:23-10:18:57 *** dhcpd: uid lease 192.168.2.1 for client 00:1a:8c:06:13:58 is duplicate on 192.168.2.0/24

2011:04:23-10:18:57 *** dhcpd: DHCPREQUEST for 192.168.2.1 from 00:1a:8c:06:13:58 via eth1

2011:04:23-10:18:57 *** dhcpd: DHCPACK on 192.168.2.1 to 00:1a:8c:06:13:58 via eth1

I have already set a static mapping for this entry but I can't understand why the Lease is still there

Hi Wingman,
from a very long running thread on a similar subject (for a beta thread it was long) there appears to be a problem with the dhcp parser. It is in-hand Ulrich and should be rectified in 8.164.

wasn't sure if anyone had reported that for v8.2 beta. (I think there was a beta thread for version v8.0)

There was a bug with IPv6 leases, but thats not related to this one.

Expired leases are shown up to five days in the above list.
This is a feature, not a bug [;)]

Thanks da_merlin . I can confirm that the "Uknown" client from the 23rd is now gone. not a bug
