[8.163][BUG][UNREPRODUCIBLE] http proxy downloads do not always work

The proxy starts downloading (I think), but there doesn't appear anything except the gray background.

Seems to be reproducable with Download Warzone 2100 from SourceForge.net

    I get the gray screen after firefox updates fail and I try to manually download the update or latest version. Never received the gray screen before, just the download.

    I get this when I try to download items from firefox/mozilla updates and of course a gray screen without any progress indicator.
