[8.162][QUESTION][ANSWERED] Log Management connection to the Cloud

Hi All

For the past few days I can see my ASG contacting the Amazon Cloud on port 5063(application unclassified) ec2-46-137-36-232.eu-west-1.compute.amazonaws.com (confirmed with flow monitor). 

However, Back in version 8.161 , I was able to view the same connection over the SSL protocol on different port( From memory it was 993 i think) . Was anything changed in the backend in terms of connectivity?

    Hi,
    a while ago we changed the port range that is used for entering logs into the cloud. IIRC the current range is between port 5000 and 5100. This is not related to an ASG up2date, we can define this on the cloud service side and the ASG will update the configuration automatically.

    Thanks Andreas for the fast reply

    May I propose then to change the "unclassified" protocol to something more user friendly since you know the relevant URL/port combination that ASG will use to contact the Amazon Cloud Server?
