[8.162][BUG][NOT A BUG] Parent Proxy configuration

Hi All

I've just created a parent proxy under "HTTP/S profiles" and I am able to save when checking the "Proxy requires authentication" entry.However, I am not getting the option enabled. I would expect to get an error message when trying to save with that option enabled

Yes, there's something not working the way it should.

Can you please try the following:

set the "Proxy requires authentication" checkbox
enter just the username, leaving the password empty
save
edit again
set the "Proxy requires authentication" checkbox again
enter username and password
save

and the see if it is then working?

Unless I enter the username AND password, nothing happens. I am always able to save wth the option on but it jsut removes the option

In my case, and after a few tries, it didn't remove the option any more. That's why i asked. I was able to reproduce exactly what you described in your post, but once i got it to behave correctly, i couldn't reproduce it any more.

Nevertheless: we'll have a closer look at the whole parent proxy thing soon.
