[8.162][BUG][FIXED] Spoof protection still broken

Hi,
now I have my IPv6 working again, I find that the PC that uses IPv6 has trouble connecting to the internet and of course to change the ASG I have to do it from the IPv4 MAC or any other IPv4 only machine.

Turn off spoof protection and the internet magically appears again so does access to webadmin.

This atom 330 is having a hard time of this beta. Not as fast as the AMD 5050e machine.

    r u facing this problem too 

    Network security>>firewall>advanced 
    Spoof protection>>normal  ==system need to restart ?
    after reboot system unusable 
    vlan configure  (yes Ian its working now )

    (then u need to restore backup from usb drive )
     edit[:D]on't know how it suppose to work , which mode should use and when

    glad to see you finally got the vlan stuff working. Did you upgrade the gs108t with that software I sent you.

    Back to this thread. What you are suffering is what my original bud thread was about.
    I found I could login via the external interface and disable spoof protection which allowed internal access to work again.

    even after update it was not working then i called netgear guy and guess what the problem was with netgear switch itself i send back to netgear and they send me another netgear switch and it start working in 10 mints for which i spend f!@#$ time 

    i plan to wait till next release and will try later for spoof protection thing

    Hi Shrikant,
    I know this if of topic, but i am glad you were able to resolve the issue with the gs108t. Makes a lot sense why it wouldn't work with a basic configuration.

    I did tell you it was easy to configure.

    Same problem here with ipv6 and spoof protection.

    Why is this marked as FIXED?

    Two reasons.
    1/. it was supposed to be fixed under 8.162, but not quite fully fixed.
    2/. a new fix has been applied to 8.163 which is expected to be released either tonight Europe time or tomorrow night.

    Ian is right, but let me add this:

    If you take a closer look at the Betabot post, you'll notice that it says 
    Fixed in version: 8.163

    These Betabot posts are automatically synced  with our internal bugtracking, so you can see what problems are to be fixed by the next release.
