[8.162][BUG][CLOSED] ICEcast Streams (Internet Radio)

Hi again....  [:$]

I know I'm harping on this.  [;)]

In my testing SHOUTcast streams are 100%.  All ICEcast streams I use however have the blip still.  The best place to go is Home :: 1.FM - The Music Starts Here or http://www.soma.fm since they seem to use all ICEcast servers.

    Hi,

    WinAmp has blips for sure, unless you uncheck "Enable SHOUTcast title support" (see attached image).  I tested Foobar2000, it plays OK but it is missing the track information.  I think that is the key, WinAmp misinterprets the track information as actual audio while Foobar2000 knows enough to ignore the info because it is corrupt.  I'll test Zinf to see what is does and get back to you.

    OK, testing is done.

    Zinf doesn't work well with anything.... we'll leave that freeware out of the picture.  As far as WinAmp and Foobar2000 go they both show song information using ASG 8.102 but on ASG 8.162 they don't so it looks like there is an issue with the metadata that is being sent from the ICEcast server.

    I was using the latest Foobar2000 app along with WinAmp 5.601 (but any 5.x WinAmp will do)
