hello Friends !

i set firmware update for schedule but it start installation of new firmware before schedule time i check this with two systems

A little more info please. Is it starting at UTC? Probably not since you are ahead of UTC. Any example of what you set it up and when it installed. Screenshot of your scheduled install time and up2date log might also be helpful.

I will try it with 8.162 once it is released.

try to do manual schedule install and please let me know what u found
i guess it doesn't want for schedule it start installing as soon as download complete

So you did a scheduled update and as soon as it finished downloading, it started installing? I am waiting on Sven to look at my http proxy. I won't be able to update till after that. Probably tomorrow.

Hey Bill,

i'll bet they will flood the forum with new reports while i sleep ;-)

If you take a look at the schedule/immediate restart issue, can you please also take a look at the logfiles? Maybe there are some hints in the confd.log or in the mdw.log

@Bill: after updating, can you please run the following commands on the console:

cd /var/log
grep -l scheduled_up2date *log

and post the output here?

@utm_kid I tried a scheduled firmware update but mine is starting exactly as expected. As I said maybe a few screenshots of your setup might shed some light on your experience.
