[8.100][BUG][CLOSED] IPv6 DHCP lease time in vlans still broken

Yes, this is a left over from the v8.100b and it is still broken.

I have been trying to workout why my access to IPv6 google had suddenly failed, then it dawned on me, I had changed the lease time from infinity to see if this had been fixed.

No, it hasn't been fixed and I now cannot get an IPv6 address assigned.

What steps have I taken
1/. changed the settings back to infinity
2/. restarted the PC
3/. restored a backup from before the change date
4/. restarted the PC
5/. stopped and restarted the DHCP servers

After all that no IPv6.

Next step, re-install from ISO. Not happy.

    Hi Ian,

    what lifetime settings did you configure? Default values are valid 30 day and preferred 7.

    Hi Ulrich,
    they are the settings I did, but the DHCP server showed infinity and infinity.

    Update. I rebuilt my backup box to v8.162b and restored the same version as I was using on the main ASG, same problem. So I decided to restore from a week earlier, nothing lost and lots gained.

    I now have IPv6 connectivity again. Not sure what other changes I lost in the meantime.

    I will put my main ASG back online shortly with the older backup restored and see what happens. Probably tomorrow morning, the screams from the other end of the house will be unbearable if I take the internet off again tonight.

    They have their hobbies which just happen to clash with mine which experimentation with electronics or electronic devices.[[[:)]]][[[:)]]][[[:)]]]
