[8.161][DUPE][CLOSED] ASG doen't restore from usb stick correctly

Hi there,

i just had to reinstall my ASG. I tried to restore from a USB stick with the backupfile on it.
It sayd "restored from USB" and the backupfile name. The first inteface had the correct ip, but without a VLAN (as you remember, i work only with VLANs).

So i configured a Port without VLAN, connected to the firewall and had to do a "Startup setup" and after that, i had to restore the Backupfile again. So it seems that there is a Problem with restoring from USB.

Probably the same as here.

Doesn't make a difference if you upload it or load it via USB.

don't think it's the same, because when i restored it in the wizzard, it worked! I was just writing about restoring it via USB!

When restoring from USB, did you check the logfiles? I'd bet to find entries similar to those in the other thread.
