[8.161][BUG][CLOSED] Intelector Reporting

Hi, Folks

We put the beta on a asg320 we offer before an 425 for the beta but some demos has to be covered, so we have the next issues:

Firmware version: 8.161

Issue 01, Autentication Client:
Description:
If you click on "Help" nothing happends.


Issue 02, Autentication Client + Application Control:
Description: Me self install the ASG authentication Client and make a policy on the application control, and I test with all the options for skype, and it's not blocking, it's let me chat, and voice call, my ipconfig:

IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 10.105.2.222
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.0.0
Default Gateway  (astaro). . . . . . . . . : 10.105.2.22

My primary dns is 10.105.2.22
Secundary: none

The client it's connected.

Issue 03, Firefox:
The throbber some times start to refresh every 1 second so this make's firefox very slow, I log out, and log in and it's fixed, but I turn off and on the webproxy because I don't have web navigation and the problem comes again, I log out again and the error goes, I try the websecurity module again and the issue comes back so, meaby the websecurity interface have's some thing.

Issue 04, Web Browsing:
After enable the QoS for the unique interface, the web browsing with any web browser program it's doesn't work, but if I change the gateway to my gateway ip adress the web browser works again, when I put back the Ip adress from the asg beta, the web browsing won't work, so I try a restart, put the webproxy in transparent mode and don't work, so if any of the staff need's any log file let me know, feel free to ask, any way I attach the support package if it's useful.

PS: We won't gona to touch any thing unless you tell us that we can, I think in make a restore factory and Try the backup file, but it's better it you guys figured wy I have this issue, and it's more useful for the beta porpuse.

Update01: The forum don't let me upload the support package because it's exceed the data transfer limit, sorry.
Update02: Sorry for forgot the rule number 1 on a forum: Read the rules, and stickys, so if any one can change the title of my thread very nice.

    This has already been reported over here.


    Issue 02, Autentication Client + Application Control:


    The flow classifier currently doesn't work the way it should. See here and here. We hope to get this fixed in the next release.

    Issue 03, Firefox:

    This sound more like a firefox issue than an ASG problem to me. To find out where exactly the problem is, please make sure that you 

    • use different browsers for websurfing and management of the ASG
    • clear the browser cache before testing
    • use a firefox profile without any third-party extensions (adblock, etc.) that might get in the way
    • close every live logging window while testing
    • close the traffic monitor while testing

    Otherwise it might just be some other site or setting interfering with the webadmin.

    Issue 04, Web Browsing:

    There's another problem with QoS reported here. If web browsing works if you have QoS disabled, then chances are that you have been bitten by the same bug. We're working on getting a fix for this into the next release-


    Update01: The forum don't let me upload the support package because it's exceed the data transfer limit


    I'll talk with the forums administrator about increasing that limit. Thanks for mentioning this.

    Thanks for reading them at all [;)] It's good to know that all the work we put in those texts is worth it.

    One more thing though:
    We usually try to follow the "one thread per problem" rule. While this is more a "rule of thumb" than a "law", it makes the tracking of the problems much easier, especially in the long run. After a few weeks i usually move the resolved problems to a subforum, so only the "active problems" stay her. We don't delete those threads, because we think it's nice to have them available for reference purposes later on. This wouldn't be possible if we had many problem reports in the same thread.
