[8.160][DUPE][CLOSED] Log Management (Unknown device)

Hi All

I am seeing two devices under the Log Management page. One of them is the firewall itself and the secondary one is another ip (not relevant)

I have enabled the ACC to one of the internal clients so I would expect to see the internal ip of the client there (?)

The relevant logs:

2011:03:04-15:01:51 stuffman argos[1769]: [argos_listen]: New connection from 192.168.*.*
2011:03:04-15:01:51 stuffman argos[1769]: [auth_aua]: User ****** authenticated [REF_DefaultSuperAdminGroup]

PS I am also getting multiple :

Rare: "Error processing log message: 1 2011-03-09T11:44:02+00:00 s_local@********* confd 1219 - [meta sequenceId="6466"]"

Hey wingman,

there is already a thread with this behaviour. (link)
It is tracked by MantisID 17158.

With your Authentification Client you don't send automatically log messages to the Log Management.
You have to enable the "Log Forwarding" on your ASG and need a tool on the Windows Client to send the log messages to the ASG.
The device doesn't appear in the Log Managment before this is realized.
