when I try to download the windows log software, the browser on a W2K8R2 is complaining about no flash plugin. I think for downloading the software Flash should not be nessecary. (And I do not want to install flash on the server)
Since you need to have flash installed to make any use of the log management site, we think it's okay if you download the windows agent on the machine that you want to use as the "Log-Management Console" once, and copy it to your servers from there.
I mean: if your servers are a that critical part of your infrastructure, why do you allow them to access the internet at all?
