Why do you think that this is a bug? Would be nice if you could explain a little bit more instead of just uploading images.

the image say ldap and i am trying add Avtive dirctory ,this also happen with other backends 

there is backend LDAP 
do u think it should show AD or active directry  
its say "CONNECTING TO " if user had AD and he "think" he configure correctly but give error then he will have impression that its trying to connect to LDAP not AD 
(  sweten [:D])

You mean the "ldap://" part of the error message should be something else, because you are configuring an AD backend server?

as far as i remember, AD is some kind of LDAP? am i wrong?

Yes, adirectory and edirectory are some kind of LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol). They are based on this protocol but have different vendors (AD is from  Microsoft and edirectory is from Novell...).
For example: Both are using the port 389 in the default settings. [;)]

So this is not a bug.
