[8.160][BUG][FIXED] Flow monitor time

Hi again,

When I start the flow monitor from the dashboard the time is off by 5 hours.  I checked my Management/System Settings/Time Date and everything is set correctly.  I've attached a screen shot that includes the system tray time from XP.  I don't recall how I answered the UTM time question when installing from the ISO file.

    While i see your point, there is one thing i would like to add to the discussion:

    consider a sysadmin that has to take care of two (or more) machines in different locations, let's say there is an US-Headquarter and a Branch office in Japan. Would this sysadmin prefer to see the same timestamps (because everything is UTC) rather than the respective local times?

    What do you think?

    While I agree with the merits of UTC, the global settings should apply. The webadmin interface can't have multiple time zones running at the same time. If the admin is using UTC then it should be UTC accross the board. If however local time is preferred, everything should show in local time. 

    Come on Kai, this is a bug[:D]

    Oh, don't worry, i already filed this as a bug before i posted my comment. It's just that the problem of timezones came up during the discussion with the developer, so i wanted to know what your opinion is.

    So what was the bottom line it was UTC  / GMT 
    and i was under very wrong impression utc time is different and gmt time is different
