In the IM/P2P Classifier Log, need to add a column for which application definition is being invoked for each block entry. This would be necessary for troubleshooting purposes and a must have for real-world business usage of the Application Control feature..
As an example, I created a new rule to block 20 applications. Then I used one of those applications and got the entry in the screenshot.
Now with it being port 80, it's easy enough to know that the entry is for something web based, but without doing some digging (pun intended), nobody is going to know that the Application definition being used is ....MySpace. With others of the currently 525 application definitions it would probably be not as easy and much more time consuming to figure out.
If I've got users and management forming a lynch mob because something is being blocked by accident that shouldn't be, it would be quite useful to be able to see at a one second glance which application definition needs to be removed from an app control block rule. [:)]
In future (post 8.200 unless this is already being worked on), it would probably be a good idea to put a Tab for App Control in Reporting>>Web Security for Auditing and Accounting Purposes.
