[8.160][BUG][FIXED] Application Control

Please add the build number in the subject line when making a post to this forum, like all the other posts have. Right now it may seem silly, but there will be a new build next week and on many weeks thereafter until the end of the beta process. Without the build in the subject line, it can become very difficult for Astaro staff to keep track of.

Sorry Paul, i cannot reproduce this here. I only get the message if i remove all entries from the "Control these Applications" box, and then the behavior is correct. You cannot save a rule that has no applications associated with it.

Can you give me a hint how you were able to trigger this message?

When I click the green light to disable the rule it turns red as expected.  When I click the red light to enable it I get the error.  Now, this only happens to rules that don't have a blue box beside the name in the applications box.  I tried both Firefox 3.6.8, IE 8.0.6001 and IE 6 something.  BTW, IE 6 does not layout pages correctly [:O]... I don't know if that matters.

Now i start to understand. Did you import a backup from a previous version, and did you have IM/P2P enabled in the old version? Oh, and can you please upload a screenshot of this?

@kbr, I am able to reproduce this one as well(pic attached). I am using a backup from 8.102 and IM/P2P was enabled in the old version

This is definitely a problem with the import of the backup. Seems like the Application Control feature doesn't know all the old protocols. MantisID 16989 will track this.

IE 6 is not supported
