[8.160][BUG][UNABLETODUPLICATE] failure and equipment indentification failure

Hi folks,
the equipment involved was working quite happily on v8.102 until I started the install of 8.160.
1/. install configuration showed 2 identical hard drives
2/. restored backup stuffed up the root and userlogin passwords.
3/. DHCP works
4/. all interfaces up
5/. no internet connection from internal network.

Unable to check ifconfig because console access broken.

Rebuild.

oh, and what exactly is the meaning of "stuffed up"? I'm not a native english speaker, and this term sound unfamiliar in that context....

Hi kbr,
the log would have been destroyed when I rebuilt the ASG because of no access.
I will have a look at the current version, but I don't think I will find anything because the second installation flowed smoothly.

"Stuffed up" means broken or somebody got it wrong and it doesn't work anymore eg launch a ship and it immediately sinks, "somebody stuffed up".
