[8.160][FEATURE][OPEN] What about Xen paravirtualization support?

It's on our road map.
We plan to add it to the 8.200 beta when it is ready.

Well, the .iso does contain the xen-tools and xe-guest-tools-5.6 rpm's...
Also, the installer does detect it's running in Xen HVM (when installing on XenServer 5.6). 

Though there is no way that I know of, to install it in para-virt. mode, cause the isolinux booter does not have a xenified kernel AFAIK.

Also, I couldn't get the beta to install succesfully in a XenServer VM, due to a segfault that occurs. I made a post about it here : Install on XenServer 5.6 results in a segfault

what will be supported in 8.200 initially will be Xen HVM.  The segfault is reproducible in the lab and will be fixed shortly.  I'll post the beta version in which this is done. Note that there are currently no plans to support Xen PVM mode for ASG.

So, basically, we get support for Xen HVM. Which allready works properly in the current 8.1xx versions. With the added benefit that we get to install the XenServer / Xen tools. This still doesn't rid us of the 10 - 30% overhead of a HVM vs PVM VM nor does it give us Live Migration availability in XenServer.

So, am I to understand correctly that all that you are giving us is a prepackaged xe-guest / xen-tools, and in the process broke the installation on XenServer?

If this is the case, I hardly see why you would call it Xen support, as to me, that means a Xenified kernel.
