[8.160][BUG][FIXED] HTTP Transparent Proxy not working for Wireless Networks

When the HTTP Proxy is set in Transparent mode, Wireless Networks will not be able to browse the web through the proxy... This is with a wireless network defined as a "Separate Zone" with correct packet filters and NAT MASQ rules defined, and the network is in the allowed network list in the Proxy configuration (in fact, this exact backup file was restored from a working 8.102 installation). I have to manually configure the proxy settings in the browser to point at the default 8080 port.

Seems like it's similar to the issue I found during the 8.100 beta.

I didn't notice a change in throughput, but I only use the wireless for iPad browsing, which is not too speedy at the best of times.

I didn't get an error either. I left the existing wireless network alone and only deleted the active access point, so after I did the other steps and re-enabled WS and plugged the reset AP back in, it automatically associated itself with the existing wireless network listing (I only have one).

No throughput issues (that I can see), but of course, http proxy is not working right. Do you have your SSID set to use an automatically detected "free" channel? If so, try running netstumbler on your laptop and find a totally free channel (no nearby networks on it) and manually set your Wireless settings on the ASG to use that channel... I have seen issues before (using other wireless APs) where the automatically detected "free" channel was not always "free" thus causing headaches for the customer until we manually selected a channel that was not in use anywhere nearby. Just a thought.

Just a little bump... I don't see this issue (the original one posted here) listed in the Known Issues list at the top of the forum... but this is still broken in 8.161.
