  • FYI, the minimum supported memory configuration for 8.200 is 1GB and the maximum a 220v1 supports is 512MB. Just be aware that it may not install and if it does, performance will probably be well below par even with most features turned off. As you test, keep in mind the potential memory needs of each feature before enabling. For example, you would not even want to consider turning on the local content filter database, it could conceivably peg your memory usage at 100% and stay there...thereby locking the system up.
     
    I'm not saying that 8.200 (beta or final) can't work at all with a v1 220, only that the experience will not be pleasant and you'll be very limited on the features that will be usable.

  • Indeed, the performance will probably be very poor on an old box that has 512MB in it; 1GB is the new minimum.
