[8.070][BUG][OPEN] enter short passwords will not correct stored

hi

after a reinstall of the astaro, i put in a new loginuser/root/admin password and every password will not correct stored. i must reinstall and after that i have the same problem

for example you can take the password ,,root" in the first dialog and its not possible to login with this password. 

now i can login via console, but the webinterface locked me out every time. only if i take a old config and restore it after installing, its possible to login.

this problem occurse on webinterface on every 3 users root/loginuser/admin, but on shell you can set the passwords.

    can you please be a little more precise on where you entered the new password? What do you mean with "first dialog"? Have you made sure that you browser doesn't play any bad tricks on you by remembering passwords?

    i have 2 8.070 here, one with old config restored and one reinstalled for playing. 

    on my old one i have a admin user, but if i go to management -> reset passwords, it's not longer possible to login via ssh with loginuser or root. 

    the other one had the startwizard and on this page i put in as password ,,root" (without quotes) and its not possible to login to this new astaro vm.

    i think there must be a bug in the last version in storing passwords.

    i checked this with google chrome and the last firefox version.

    if you have an idea to reset the admin password on the shell i can this this on the playing one via shell too, on the other i have locked me out on shell site. my home one, is running with only web access.

    This is the documented behavior, not a bug.

    Sorry, i can not reproduce this one. Can you describe a little more?

    i have the start wizard, there i type as password root 2 times and a emailadress, then i have to wait 40 sec and after that i got the login dialog and no login is possible anymore. now i reinstall the astaro beta and check this again.
