[8.065][QUESTION][ANSWERED] Masquerading and SNAT not working with IPv6 only network

I tried to setup an IPv6 network with private addresses (fc00::/64). From my computer I can ping the asg firewall using those addresses. My asg is connected to IPv6 through SIXXS tunnel broker. From the asg I can successfully ping ipv6.google.com using the tunnel.

To access the IPv6 internet from the internal IPv6 network I need to masquerade all packets coming from internal IPv6 to the asg side IPv6 address of the tunnel. But this does not work. When trying to setup masquerading with IPv6-only source network I get an error message. Same goes for SNAT using IPv6-only source networks.

Hi Philipp,

there is no NAT support for IPv6 (yet). Normally you dont have to to that.
You will get a whole prefix from you ISP/Tunnel Broker, so you can assign
public IPv6 addresses to your clients (in addition or without the private IPv6 addresses).
