8.060 stuck doing nothing updating to 8.065

My software 8.060 seems to be stuck with not kicking off the update to the new 8.065. I selected update to latest version yesterday and nothing happened. I click watch up2date in new window, but the window comes up as blank.

rebooted a couple times. install claims to have gone well. first time I've had an up2date do this.
