[8.055][BUG][FIXED] Ipv6 not working after change ip

hi there

when my ip address is changed on my WAN interface my ipv6 tunnel is not working, this is normal because it is an static ip tunnel.

but when i change my ip address in my sixxs account i have to reboot the complete asg to get it working again

i've tried to disable the tunnelbroker in the webadmin and also tried to disable ipv6 completely. nothing work only the reboot is working for me this is happend for me now a couple of times in this version (this problem was also in 8.050)

does anyone has the same problem in my other post about ipv6 astaro told me that i was the first one with this kind of setup for ipv6 so maybe this is also something that is a bug

Hi Rudie,

if your IPv4 address is changing, please switch the Tunnel type to AYIYA.
With AYIYA you got heartbeats between your ASG and the SixXS Tunnel Endpoint,
so the IPv4 address change is detected and the IPv6 Tunnel is re-established.

There is no automatic way to re-establish the IPv6 Tunnel if you change the static IPv4 endpoint via SixXS. However disabling/enabling the IPv6 Tunnel Broker should fix this,
I will have a look at this...

hi,

normaly this ip address is the same but i have also the same problem as BERT here on the forum that my provider was given me the wrong MTU size 576 and when i set it to static my connection is lost after 3 hours. so i had to set the mtu size to fixed and now my ip is always the same again.

that is what my problem caused. but yes it is a problem that a disable and enable of the ipv6 tunnel did not do the trick
