[8.050][QUESTION][ANSWERED] Creating Wifi Net creates itf with unassigned hardware

First time I activated wireless through wireless wizard it did create a network interface with device assigned to wlan0 which is fine... then I deleted wireless network and disabled wireless... then I activated wireless feature again and added manually a new wireless network which did created a new interface but with unassigned device ! Should not the wlan0 interface automatically selected? like for first setup? (I can at least edit interface and assign wlan0 to it).

edit1: even with unassigned device to network interface, in the wireless network list it shows "blabla (on wlan0)" which is also inconsistency

    The wizard is there to make it easier for the novice to do all necessary things the common user needs in one step.

    It shows as 'wlan0' because that is the physical device name. The very same is true for standard NICs, you can see the physical device name of it at the 'Hardware' tab, even if it has not yet been configured as an interface. It' s just not yet usable without configuring it as an interface.
