[7.951][NOTABUG][CLOSED] HTTP proxy restarting becoming a problem again.

Hi,
I had been reasonably free of these during the latter stage of the beta. Proxy refusing connection then restarting or restarting because it refused a connection. Started to appear in 7.950, but not enough to be nuisance, but tonight affecting users.

Performance is probably not helped by the varying response time for the check servers.

Ian M

  • Well, i think in the 7.921 upto 7.950 releases the logging of this restarts was suppressed by mistake (to be honest, svens did it intentionally, but our QA wanted them back for testautomation reasons). So the http-proxy did what you call a "restart" all the time, but didn't write it to the logfile. I still see no problem here. Did you receive any notifications that the http-proxy wasn't running? Did you experience any other difficulties? Otherwise i'd like to close this as "not a bug"
