Regarding the "Select All" button: This is a neat idea and i'll discuss this with our web-developers, but i guess this will not make it into the initial release of the Version 8. We're currently focusing on fixing the bugs and new features will go into a later release.
Update: this will be tracked as Mantis ID #14222, and maybe implemented along the way to version 8.100.
