[7.950][BUG][NOT A BUG] Expired DHCP address won't go away

Hi,
I have an IPv4 address assigned by the DHCP server which expired on the 16th of June.
I have since re-assigned the correct static IPv4 address to the PC in the ASG static assignments.

The entry below shows an extract from the DHCP server log

[FONT=monospace]2010:06:19-21:48:52  fw1-on-house dhcpd: uid lease 192.168.10.211 for client  00:1f[:D]0:a0:c3:57 is duplicate on eth1.10 [/FONT]
[FONT=monospace]2010:06:19-21:48:52  fw1-on-house dhcpd: DHCPREQUEST for 192.168.10.252 from  00:1f[:D]0:a0:c3:57 via eth1.10 [/FONT]

    There is nothing to worry about, thats the normal behavior of the ISC DHCP server:

    If a DHCP client requests an IP address, a lease entry is created. If a static
    lease is created afterwards, the old dynamic lease is still in the database.
    There is no automatic cleanup within the DHCP server, so these messages are logged then.

    You can ignore them. In case all dynamic IP addresses are assigned, the duplicate
    ones will be reassigned...
