Can you explain the difference with the way the 7.505 version filters from V 8 BETA? I seem to be getting much more SPAM from the v7.921 than I did from 7.505 with the same settings.
we can't answer this question without more information from your logfiles. Can you please provide also the logfile lines that surrounds the mentioned logline. Please check also the Fallback messages logfile for suspicious entries.
I checked the Fallback log and do see some failed to create UDP socket messages around the time I changed the IP address on the internal and external interfaces. I have rebooted and it is working now correctly and e-mail is being filtered again so maybe it was related to that change. Will keep an Eye on it and if it fails again with no change being made will raise this again.
here is the log attached for your review. At around 4pm EST I was changing the external IP address with WOW Static address and a little before that had to change the internal address.
I think this issue is related to a problem with the restart of the Commtouch Spam detection daemon (Mantis-ID 14128), which we will fix in 7.951 which is scheduled for next Wednesday.
Will keep an Eye on it and if it fails again with no change being made will raise this again.
