Hi,
I have a SixXS tunnel and /48 address range.

if you use DHCPv6 you cannot use "prefix advertisments".If you have vlans you have to use DHCPv6 to subnet the address range because the "prefix advertisment" is for the whole of you assigned space.  
In hindsight, the above line is in error. Thinking about the error message I received in greater detail. I interpretted the error wrong, it will only allow you to put in a /64. Which means you can subnet for vlans. Off to try that and see what happens.

How do you get w7 to recognise the ASG IPv6 gateway? I see packets from the link local and link local gateway in the network stats. ipconfig shows the link local gateway as the preferred gateway.
How do I permanently remove the default teredo tunnel? this tunnel is no longer required if I have configured IPv6 addressing?

And finally, why don't the IPv6 details showup in the interface tab of the webadmin, similar to IPv4?

    Hi Ian,

    * The ASG will be automatically the IPv6 Default Gateway of your clients,
       if you enable either Prefix Advertisements or DHCPv6.
       In the IPv6 world Default Routes and Normal Routes will always point to Link Local addresses,
       thats the default behavior!

    * Windows 7 will not use the Teredo Interface if there is an IPv6 address configured.
      For removing Teredo completely from Windows please search the Web, I'm not using Windows [:)]

    * The IPv6 should be display on the interface tab, Can you post an screenshot ?

    Hi Ulrich,
    I had searched the web for the answer to w7 problem. I have followed the instructions, but every restart the tunnel returns, I was hoping somebody might have a different idea on how to get rid of it.

    I must have been going to fast yesterday, because a lot of things that didn't work yesterday during testing are working fine today including the IPv6 address details on the interface tab.

    I have discovered what I would call a little nasty in W7 and IPv6 address auto refresh. In IPv4 when your address ages out the client automatically renews it, well W7 IPv6 client doesn't, so setting too short a life doesn't work. I think that might have been why I was having some much trouble, the assigned address was aging out.

    Yes, I made the changes you have suggested below earlier today after investigating why the PC didn't have an IPv6 address.
