I just did the update from 7.920 to 7.921. Now I can't connect to or from the Internet through my PPPoE connection.
PPPoE log says the connection is up and running but the only possible data transmission is Support->Tools-> DNS Lookup. No DNS Lookup from the clients inside, no Ping from the internal net or WAN. No connection from the Internet to my WAF-protectet server.
I didn't change the configuration. Everything worked with 7.290. I tried to reset to factory defaults and did the setup again. No change.
I checked the log files but there is nothing that could help. No blocked connections, nothing.
Edit:
I just recognized that the box itself is not pingable from the internal or external network. All Ping settings are on (allowed). So there seems to be a bigger problem that doesn't have anything to do with PPPoe.
