[7.912][QUESTION][ANSWERED] ASG on VMWare (just that I get it right)

Sorry, if this has been asked before, I tried to search, but wasn't sure about the results.

I'd like use my current astaro hw differently, i.e.:

Install a plain CentOS with VMWare
Inside VMWare, I install the ASG (v8 Beta).

The board I'm using has two ethernet interface, so if I understood it correct, I use e.g. eth0 for the linux (192.168.100.10), install ASG in VMWare, bridge it's LAN interface to eth0 and give it 192.168.100.1 as ip (using that IP as the general default Gateway), and let the asg do pppoe towards my dsl modem through the second interface (eth1), which I mapp exclusively to the asg virtual machine .............

So I can use the linux for LAMP / propper DNS / DHCP and let the ASG VM do the FW / filtering / pppoe ....

is that going to work?
