Sorry, I cannot reproduce this here. Does the backup that you have used really contain the settings that you expected?
The backups can be found under /var/confd/var/storage/snapshots and you can verify this (without restoring the backup) by issuing a command on the console (you need to be logged in as 'root' to do this):

Few hours ago I've made this screenshot after restoring with a backup from yesterday:
Since then I've played with some settings, made new backups and for some reason I can't reproduce the problem either. On the picture the time for changes is twelve minutes past the changelogs time, maybe this means something.
