[7.910][QUESTION][ANSWERED] About creat rule on bridge mode

I heard someone said:"If one has 2 LANs on Astaro, and then bridges them, it is then impossible to have any packetfiltering between them. This has been confirmed on these forums in the past (within the 7.x series)."  Is that true?

Is there any update in v8 ?

    Part of my working network formed by some servers and many clients within a same subnet. Now i want to protect these sevrers against unwanted accessing, malware and attacks comming from clients. The easiest way is to setup a bridge mode firewall and apply security rule on it. Then nothing need to be changed  and at the same time my servers get their protection. Using Route/NAT is not a good solution because that means i need to change my network topology. It will introduce many application changes and may cause insensible problems.
