[7.910][BUG][FIXED] location based blocking

First, let me congratulate the astaro team on getting this done. The gui seems to be well thought out and is easy to understand and its a one click solution. Its been a long time coming and a greatly needed feature.

Now the bug part, packet filter log shows license usage exceeded when connecting to a blocked site from location based blocking.

Question: Will the IP blocks be updated with regular up2dates or will we be able to edit them some other way?

Feature: Since this is all packet filter based and proxies are not really aware of what is going on so there is a long waiting time before the proxy gives an error message. Is there any way that can be tweaked.

    The data is stored locally in the filesystem. Try [FONT="Courier New"]rpm -qa |grep geoip[/FONT] to find out more. I can't think of a way to time-out local filesystem access that doesn't involve a complete hardware failure.

    If you think of "corrupted" updates... well, i guess that's something that will be generally solved in the near future.
