Barry, wouldn't it be a bit of a security thing that you can't run an OS off a USB stick?
I would love to be able to install form a usb stick to whatever hardware i wanted to use..is that option available?
Could Astaro provide installers that would work from ANY USB CD?
See Knoppix, et. al., for examples of USB-bootable linux systems.

I'm not sure if i understand you correctly. The asg iso works if you use if with an usb cdrom drive. Did you mean an USB (flash) stick? I guess so.
When you mention Knoppix above: do you mean we should provide an "Astaro Live-CD", or do you want to be able to boot of and install from an USB-Stick?
... and regarding the PenDriveLinux link: doesn't this already work with the asg iso?
