[7.900][QUESTION][ANSWERED] Authentication (captive portal) for Reverse Proxy

Hi,

will there be a feature like Authentication / captive portal (e.g. the proxy settings"transparent with authentication" ) for enabling a reverse proxy?
This would be so usfull for small installations with no frontend exchange / DMZ.
(juniper calls this "webauth" )

good idea, we would need it for a projekt, where we will replace the borderware with an astaro for mail security. borderware offers this fetaure and the customer will use it the same way with astaro!

At the moment authentication is not planned for V8.

it´s really strange that astaro doesn´t implement this feature. It´s a must have - and many other firewall vendors like juniper, watchguard... utilize for a long time.
